Then I created another account and started a battle with the same nation, same BR tanks, and same 0 exp crews: If I ever want to level up a Soviet crew, or any other nation, it will be a big pain in the butt You can see in the upper center I'm being paired up against tanks against all tiers (I, II, III, IV, V). I've never played Soviet before so I am starting with the base tanks, base BR, and base crews: To demonstrate I switched to the Soviet side and started to join a game and took a screenshot. That helps a little bit but is not really the issue I'm discussing. If all your tanks have a Br of 2.3 you should be only seeing tanks that are around 3.3ish so you'll have a better chance to defeat them. If all your tanks have a BR of 2.3 for example and you have one that's 6.7 you'll get matched against tanks that have around 6.7 to 7.7ish which means your lower tanks will probably get there ass kicked pretty quick. What you want to do is make sure each tanks BR is as close as possible to each other. To see a tanks Br just move your mouse cursor over the tank and a menu pops up, the BR will be at the top under its name and what kind of tank it is. Then if you want to go back to teir 1, 2 etc just click on the preset you want and all the crew slots change automatically.Īlso when your choosing your tanks pay attention to there battle rating (BR) This is set of numbers listed for each tank. There will be a reserve plane in it by default but just swap it out for whatever tanks or planes you want. To create a preset click on the preset button on the bottom right of the screen click add and it'll create new preset for you. Then click on the crew spot you want that tank to be in and it swaps it for you. To swap them put look at the bottom of the main menu (the screen where there is a hanger) Click the research button, then left click on the tank you want and select a crew. Make sure when you do that you put the tanks back in the same crew spots or you'll have to pay silver lions to train the crew on that tank. You can also create presets so you don't have to manually change each tank. You can always swap out your current tanks for older ones. I was having a great time with this game but this is really frustrating. This game is fairly confusing as is with all the different game modes, Gold Eagles, Silver Lions, Crew Exp, etc etc it's annoying that when a newb tries something and then gets stuck playing with experts. How do I go back to the battles with just T1 and T2 tanks? I tried switching the crew of the M4A1, and also tried putting them on Holiday with no luck.Īm I now stuck grinding against lvl 1-5 tanks? It's really bad game design to have the user experience suddenly change signficantly and have no way to go back. I assumed since I was previously battling T2 tanks, I would continue to do so. Obviously, they mop the floor with me and my non-unpgraded barely T2 tank, and then have no chance with my backup T1 tanks. I just researched my first T2 tank an M4A1, and now I'm thrown into the fray of battles vs T1-T5 tanks. I've been playing battles with T1 and T2 tanks. I just started playing this game and was having a great time.
